Goose Creek CISD (GCCISD) officially welcomed 265 new educators during New Giant Academy, the district's two-day onboarding experience designed to prepare new teachers and instructional staff for a successful school year while introducing them to the district's culture, expectations, and commitment to student success.

Goose Creek CISD (GCCISD) is celebrating another milestone in its Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) journey, recognizing 275 designated teachers across the district and awarding a combined $2,747,655 in performance-based compensation.

Ashbel Smith Elementary
Students in Kindergarten brought their stuffed animals to school for a weekend sleepover. Each Stuffy was required to have a Stuffy Parent Permission Slip and an About Me Form filled out. Our Stuffy friends were each given a name tag identifying them so that they could stay safe and were provided with meals and snacks all weekend to fill their tummies.
